Symptoms

  • Swimming with high speed
  • Respiratory stress ,rapid breathing , gasping air
  • Scraping against objects
  • Gills swollen and pale
  • Jumping out of water
  • Dark coloration
  • Develop a white to gray-white areas of thickening mucous on the skin

Treatment Method

  • Potassium Permanganate concentration of 2 mg/L as a long-term bath (minimum 4 hr) or short-term bath at concentrations of 10 mg/L for 30 minutes
  • Praziquantel (Dose:300-500 mg/100L for 1-3 days or 150 mg/10L for 2-3 hours)
  • Sodium Chloride: 2.5% for 1 hour by bath or DipĀ treatmentĀ in 5% NaCl for 5 min
  • Formalin: 250-330mg/1 liter for 1-30 miutes by bath method
