So I spotted my Rastas frag fell and was upside down on the sand bed behind my rocks. Not sure how long it's been back there. So I went and picked it up with some tongs and saw two small stomatella snails dropping off and then I see the eggs.

I have a ton of these snails and don't want anymore.

Should I get rid of it?

leave it out in the open, a fish might eat it. also the stomatellas are good for your tank. I had them take over at one point and them some cleaner shrimp decided they were a tasty treat. cleaned them out completely.

Yea you gave me one and said it was a nudi but when I got home and looked at it, it was a stomatella lol. its all good you restarted my population since my cleaner shrimp had died after it ate all the snails and had no food. I have a video of the shimp eating the snail. it was pretty cool, they would flip them over and go to town. let me see if i can find it.

I love stomatellas and colonistas! They're fabulous algae eaters and are small enough to get into the little cracks and crevices and don't knock over frags like turbos do. I was afraid that they'd die in my move and didn't see any in my tank for the first couple weeks but slowly I'm seeing more and more :)
I've really been wanting to get some wrasses but I would be so sad if my little snails were all wiped out!

Doubt wrasses eat them cause I have too many. But maybe certain wrasses like yellow corrise eat them.
