A typical, run-of-the-mill modded Windows XP disc, with Windows Vista visual features and lots of period-correct programs from 2007.
Notes:
- Disc compiled 2007-12-30
- This modded copy is meant to be installed as a fresh installation by booting from the disc, since it uses unattended installation. You cannot use it to upgrade from a previous version of Windows, since it will complain about missing upgrade files.
- Additionally, some components, such as right-to-left/East Asian language(s) support, cannot be installed using this disc; you may need to have an unmodified disc (image) ready to install such features.
- When installing, you may need reboot again after the first run since there's a countdown prompting that - after which the Windows Post Installation Wizard will pop-up, prompting you to install additional bundled software (too many to list).
Origin of this mod unknown - I happened to find this on an bootleg DVD movie store (the source of this dump, as I otherwise wouldn't upload the cover) as well on an Arabic warez forum. 2024-02-15 Update: Origin found, see the Crusty Windows wiki entry below.
