The Albanian Roots organization started lobbying for the Çameria issue on November 28, where the president of the PDIU Party was invited.
Albanian Roots made several meetings possible for Mr. Idrizi with local and state politicians to educate American politics as much as possible about the Çameria issue and create a support network in American politics.
Shpetim Idrizi together with Marko Kepi, the chairman of the organization Albanian Roots, met with the Albanian lobby in Washington “Albanian-American Civic League” with president Mr. Joe DioGuardi. They talked about the national issue, but in particular about the Çameria, where they have already joined forces and are preparing plans on how they can send the Çameria issue to the American Congress.
Also, on November 6, Congressman Gregory Meeks promised the Albanian community that he will take the Chama case to Washington where Mr. Bollati can testify about the crimes that the Greek chauvinists committed against his family and the Albanians.
