Before the Beatles, then-new pop culture was like a youth comic without dimensions. Colorful, but not two-dimensional. The appearance of these four young people from Liverpool changed the situation drastically and their musical activity - short but decisive - brought the longed-for third dimension to a music that until then was treated as if it had no reputation.

The Beatles brought to pop music, but also to pop culture in general, an additional dimension without depriving it of its colorfulness, they gave it substance without depriving it of lightness, they made it "more popular than Christ", they gave it the energy needed to turn from sound into a chain reaction with phenomena like Beatlemania. They were the first "shamans" of pop culture who, performing rituals in her newly built temple, could lead thousands, millions of young people to ecstasy and physical reactions of hysteria.

Like an awakening volcano they spewed forth a considerable amount of hot lava, capable of changing the landscape forever, and then they were extinguished forever. The volcano was soon inactive. The shamans would no longer function, Beatlemania would be just a = revered memory of the new religion, but the "psalms" they left behind would be ubiquitous for years to come. Dozens, hundreds of musicians would constantly study them and influence them like a holy book. If you look at the foundations of pop culture, you will see that a large part of them has their musical stamp, and if you follow its evolution and course until now, you will find their sound imprint in every era, in every musical genre and idiom. The band's aesthetic approach is spread everywhere, like ink spreads on paper.

The Beatles are not just a great and influential band. It's a milestone. Pop music without a doubt is divided into the era before them and after them. The musical/social/aesthetic wave they caused left nothing unaffected and the truth is that this continues to this day.
