Sun Spot Brevis - Shell Dweller - Wild Caught - CLV Pet

These are Brevis Shell Dwellers (Neolamprologus brevis) and are very social fish. Don't underestimate these little fish as they can move a mountain of sand and are fun to watch.

They should be in a group of 6 or more and they are community fish.  We lay out our tanks with a minimum of 3-4 inches of sand and then scatter snail shells across the bottom.  Make sure when you start a new tank that there are more shells than fish and look out.  They will move the shells and sand around where they want it and it will look a little different every day.

These fish hit about  2-2 1/2" when full grown and like very hard water.  The lake in Africa that they come from has a lot of calcium in it.

We sell all Brevis as unsexed, and they are hard to sex and we make our best efforts to provide male and female but can NOT guarantee especially with young ones.
