At last I have done the fabled Goku vs Superman fight. This one is a no brainer. Superman is not as strong physically and he has no beams. He has heat vision but I doubt that would even hurt Goku at all. On another note Goku’s beams are clearly magical. Therefor the beams would deal Superman extra damage. Goku can even blow up whole planets. His power is too much for Superman. Besides that he has 4 more super forms.

Yeah but he shoots unexplained energy beams of lots of differant colors. I’d definitely call them magical. I added the magic part to help so Superman fans wouldn’t feel crushed, but Personally I don’t think Goku even needs to go Super Saiyan to take care of Superman. I mean Superman lost to humans back in the 90’s. Goku never lost to Guys with Guns.

The thing is Saiyans always pwn. Superman has some super powers, but Goku is a living weapon. He can destroy whole planets in a single blast. He pwns. Goku wins. If it helps Supes can beat Batman
Well, I got into a fan boy argument about this once, and the facts that us nerds piled together put it at a really even fight. Superman defeated Darkseid who could take blows that would split moons, but Goku defeated Freiza who (manga canonicity btw) could destroy entire planets with his bare hands. There’s really no way we could accurately show the outcome of this fight. All assumptions that the fight takes place on Earth so Superman has his powers set to those they would be with one yellow sun and such.
Ah, but that’s the Clincher. See let’s say we do assume that Goku and Superman are equal at that point. Goku has gotten hundreds of times, maybe even thousands of times stronger since then. He went on to duke it out with Cell, Buu, and Omega Shenron. As for Superman he hasn’t gotten that much stronger since then. That’s why Goku takes the win in this match

I hope you watched DBZ and not DBZ Kai. Because then you’re forgetting about Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Mystic Gohan is tough and all, but he’s not at Goku level. It helps that Goku can teleport. But here’s two things about your comment
1 I agree that he could beat Superman just by looking at him
2 He can’t beat Goku. Goku even has Super Saiyan 4 now. Gohan cannot defeat him

I don’t think so. SSJ3 Goku could defeat any form of Buu. Gohan couldn’t take down Gotenks Absorbed Buu. Also against Hirudegarn Gohan did awful, while SSJ3 Goku won almost instantly

Yes, on the blog they count as the same character. Pre Crisis Superman has some really good feats, but also a lot of the regular Superman moments as well. Usually his best feats are brought up, but if you look at his regular feats or losses in the Pre Crisis age, he doesn’t look quite as impressive. I’d still go with Goku in this round, SSJ3 God mode and all

Hey there! It must have been a while because I admit that I don’t really remember the last time we talked. Do you own that DBZ blog from back in the day? I definitely agree that Goku easily takes down Superman. Through power scaling and the GT feats, Goku’s definitely in a league of his own. Goku in Super Saiyan 4 God Mode…will basically be too much for almost any opponent!

Yeah, but even with the sun, I don’t think Superman would be able to win. Goku’s natural power level is just too great and his Super Saiyan 3 is just about unstoppable!
I know goku wins, but with a lot of difficulty until he finds the source of the energy (the sun) then he’d IT to somewhere without a sun. ie king kai’s.

Absolutely, I thought it was poorly handled. They also basically said that Superman can beat anyone because he had no limits. I couldn’t buy that at all. Goku certainly stomps this Man of Steel!
