A fun day in the Tibidabo!

The Tibidabo Amusement Park is a magic place of Barcelona, nestles in Tibidabo mountain 512 metres above sea level. It is a natural spot with impressive panoramic views of the city, where some scenes of the Woody Allen film “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” have been made.

This funfair was built in 1900 and it is the oldest Spanish funfair and the second of Europe. It holds more than 25 rides for all ages, spectacles, restaurants, outside areas for picnic, games… Moreover, it is a compulsory visit the “Automaton Museum” that houses a huge collection of automatons of different cultural traditions from the 19th century to the 20th.

From 2nd March to 20th December the Tibidabo Amusement Park is open only weekends and holidays, but from 3rd July to 8TH September you can go from Wednesday to Sunday. The prices are 28,50€ for adults and 10,30€ children less than 120 cm and it is free for less than 90 cm. This ticket allows you to gain access to all attractions and spectacles of the enclosure.

If you don’t know how to get there, you could do it by particular car, from Plaza Cataluña at 10.15 every day by FGC + BlueTram + Funicular of Tibidabo, or by FGC + bus 196.

To sum up, if you don’t want wait queues to get in rides and go to an overcrowded funfair, we recommend you the Tibidabo Park, it will be an unforgettable experience!
