Rabbit is tired of Tigger always bouncing him, so he gets Pooh and Piglet together to come up with an idea to get the bounce out of Tigger. Then, Tigger and little Roo go out for a bounce and get caught in a tree.

This was the featurette our fam had on VHS. Watched it over and over. Parents even got me the picture book version of the movie. However I think I may have internalized "If you get too excited about things, the people you love will get sick of you and try to leave you in the woods" for 23 years. Tigger breaking the fourth wall and asking the narrator to help him get down from the tree... ("Narrate me down from here!") 🥺
Disney tried their best to hide the original Pooh shorts on the internet, but I found them all on archive dot org. Suck it Walt

This one is focused on Tigger and it is enjoyable, but doesn't have much of a story driving it forward. It is just Tigger being Tigger and interacting with the other characters.

As charming as any film ever made. An absolute delight with beautiful animation and note perfect voice acting. Watched as The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Here’s one from my early childhood. Had this on VHS and the scene where Rabbit walks off on his own in the forest FREAKED ME OUT as a kid. At least, I remember it freaking me out. It might have just disturbed me a bit. It stuck with me anyway. Rabbit’s anxiety rising over the sounds of the forest is intense for a kid’s movie.
A lot of other moments are ingrained in me like the scene where Rabbit, Pooh, and Piglet are hiding in the hollowed out log and Tigger gets his tail stuck in a wedge. Or when Roo starts swinging on Tigger’s tail and Tigger is freaking out.

Expanding on Tigger's relatively minor introduction in Blustery Day, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too largely ushers Pooh aside to focus on Paul Winchell's character. Fortunately, Winchell offers more than enough charisma and zany energy to make him entertaining in a starring role. Less fortunately, Junius Matthews' Rabbit suffers from inconsistent characterization that leaves the character both a villain and a doormat.
Tigger Too has more than enough laughs and heart to keep things going when it maintains its focus on Winchell and Dori Whitaker's Roo or Sterling Holloway's Pooh and John Fiedler's Piglet, which is why the special manages to be a success. Unfortunately, the mishandling of Matthews' Rabbit manages to undercut what should be the biggest emotional moments. A meaningful watch but not nearly as successful as its predecessors.
Watched at the inaugural annual Richmond Animated Film Festival on a 16mm print.
Tigger is a legend and Rabbit is a little bitch.
