Q:
Is this kid friendly?
A:
Depends on the kid and the parent(s). If the child is mellow, well-socialized, and behaves when in public, then it is not going to be a problem. If, on the other hand, your child can't sit still at a table and you are the type that believes in free… more

Amazing meal here during a trip to Minneapolis! The ambiance is very cool -- open kitchen in the back and they tables aren't smooshed on top of each other, which made conversation a lot easier. Our waiter was immensely knowledgeable about the menu, cuts of beef and cocktails. He walked us through our options and made smart recommendations.
My cocktail was the daquiri, which wasn't frozen and definitely leaned toward a margarita, sans salt and a bit sweeter. Our server said the restaurant has a sugar cane press that is used for these types of cocktails, and it was fabulously fresh.
Start with the chipas (Argentinian cheese bread). The order had 12-15 and was perfect for sharing. I had the gorgonzola striploin, which ranks up there with one of the best steaks I've ever had. It's marinated for three days, was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and had the perfect balance of flavor and fat. Our sides were the grilled mushrooms and the Papas Aplastadas (smashed potatoes with Parmesan, bacon and chives). Both were tremendous and more than sized enough for three of us to share.
I'd love to return to Porzana and highly recommend it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - May 15, 20241 check-in
Great place and service! Came here exactly when they open 5pm on a Sunday. We had oysters from the east coast, empanadas, and tuna crudo. They were all delicious. I had medium rare steak, although it was more rare, I could not finish the rest and I was lazy to ask them to gill it a little more. It is ok, I guess I am more a medium type steak girl now. LOL. Drinks were great too. I had their margarita with mezcal.
I will definitely come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 1, 2024
I got the pleasure to try Porzana during my visit to MN! Let's just say the inside of this place is very slick and extremely clean! It has a cool lofty look to it.
I can't remember our server's name but he had really cool glass and kinda long hair. He was extremely patience and gave great selection options. We order tequila shots for drinks and they were good.. not very strong tho. lol
I ordered the Cesar salad that included fried oyster and fennel. It was amazing! I also had like an oyster ceviche I believe it was called it came with like basil leafs if I'm not mistaken.. it was amazing as well.. but for me was the broccoli! It had fresh jalapeños and this really yummy jalapeño sauce! It was soo delicious!!
Will I be back?! Duh! lol
Also if you're into speakeasies there is reallly cool one in the back of this place! Def say try both out!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 56118414Apr 25, 2024Updated review2 check-ins
Another fantastic dinner was had here recently
Entrańa Argentinian steak was very very good but I like a different cut of steak I've had here before
Roasted carrots- surprisingly good lots of flavor
Ricotta Gnocchi- delicious with basil pesto perfect for sharing
Papas Alpastadas- these are my go to for the potato side dish- better than any loaded potatoes you've ever had !!
Dessert- the Brioche bread pudding was soo delightful and fresh and the candied orange flavor transported me back to a dessert I had in Greece before soo good!
Cocktails- Gigi and Rita n Doses were excellent
I was not a fan of their espresso martini however- on the salty side for me and maybe it didn't pair well with the dessert
Ambiance is always great here and service is always excellent ! There's a reason it is consistently packed it deliversHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 31, 2023Previous reviewSo happy this place lives up to the hype!!
Had a wonderful dinner after booking a reservation about a month out .
We scored street meter parking right in front of the restaurant on a Saturday night around 7pm as we went for pre cocktails before eating here
Food-9/10
Domestic Wagu striploin was amazingly delicious. Cooked perfectly full of flavor yet so tender and served with their chimchurri sauce on the side!
Sea bass- delicious and flaky ,very good one of the better seafood dishes here in the cities
Grilled Broccoli- this was not my favorite,it tasted too much like smoke and left a smoky aftertaste so if they toned that down it would be fine
Papas Alpastadas were 10/10 a unique twist on a loaded fried potato dish and complimented the grilled steak very nicely
Chocotorta- I did not like this as much as my husband did ,definitely for chocoholics- too rich for me and I didn't really like the hazelnuts or the Oreo part but can see how others would enjoy it
Torino cocktail was very good I would describe it as a margarita variation
Service-10/10
Our server was friendly ,knowledgeable and not overly attentive -helped us decide what to order
Ambiance-8/10
Good vibe, was there at 9pm on a Saturday night and it was packed ,thought the restaurant would be bigger, seemed like we were seated in the bar area which actually was fine and after about an hour it wasn't as loud as people were leaving. I would say the food does not match the vibe though, can't quite put my finger on it but the layout is very European bistro type not giving steakhouse vibes but as the food was delicious who cares!
I would definitely come back here for special occasions only as it's up there on the pricey side! - Apr 24, 2024
Finally got a chance to try out this hot steakhouse for our birthday celebration. It is hard to get a reservation so try to make it in advance or you'll be stuck with the late night hours dinner. This place gives you the vibe of chill and laid back and casual dress would be appropriate. Music is a little louder but didn't bother us. We were seated almost immediately once checked in. At 8pm on a Tuesday night it was pretty packed still.
Started off with some natural oysters which were fresh and delicious. They do offer oysters with caviar and bone marrow as well but we were a little scared or going the extra mile on oysters. Definitely something to consider when we do come back though. It's fancy. Lol.
Winter Panzanella - picture does not do its justice for taste! WAY BETTER than what I had visioned. I'm not even a fan of kale or goat cheese but omg it was so tasty! Sauce is tangy and sour and orangey. It was new and tasteful. Highly recommend.
Squid Ink Cavatelli- I'm not a fan of squid ink pasta before and still not a fan. I liked the crab meat in it but not a fan of the dish in general but my friend liked the dish. It had a little sour taste to it from the tomatoes. It's not a dish for me but if u like squid ink pasta definitely try it.
Ribeye grain finished steak- most of the steak comes as either grain finished (more fatty) or grass fed (less fatty) option. We opted for the grain finished because we like our meat a little fattier. Grain finished is also a little cheaper than grass fed as well. Got the steak medium and as you can see perfect pink for me. It was tender and yummy. Definitely not something on a random dinner night but this would be the spot for a little celebration or splurge here and there. Will definitely try other steaks next time.
Brioche Bread Pudding- I love a good bread pudding and this definitely hit the spot. High recommend as well if you have room left in the tummy.
Sorbet ice cream- since it was a birthday celebration- we did receive a complimentary ice cream. They usually have a little candy but they were out this time. Let them know if you're celebrating.
Waiter was great. Always checked in on us. We did have a little error in bill for the steak but they were squared away. Grain finished and grass fed can be mixed up so make sure you check the receipt.
We had a great experience and can't wait to come back to try their brunch menu! Looks delicious.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 22, 2024
Well, now I know why Porzana is always booked when I'm trying to make a reservation. This place is amazing! Hubby and I had a midweek date night and made our reservation 2 weeks in advance.
We asked a friend for a few suggestions prior and then asked the server when we got there. They did not steer us wrong.
For an appetizer, I had a Caesar salad with fried oysters. What a combination! The oysters were cooked to perfection. Fried, but still juicy, buttery, and with a hint of lemon.
My main course was the Mafaldini Estofado which is a short rib pasta. It was so good I can't wait to warm up the rest.
Hubby had the Asando De Tira, an Argentinian steak. They cooked it just right and it paired well with the chimichirri. On the side, he had Pommes puree and glazed carrots. The medley of flavors paired so well.
We shared the brioche bread pudding.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 8, 20242 check-ins
Had been meaning to try this place since it opened. Finally were able to get a reservation for a Sunday night. Got there at our reservation time and were seated promptly. Parking can be a bit tricky so I suggest valet.
The place was packed with chatter happening at all the tables. I would have preferred a little more distance between the tables but have noticed this trend with most of the new restaurants. The lively atmosphere was definitely a plus.
We started off with some drinks and continued that trend throughout the evening and the drinks did not disappoint. Our favorites were the Torina and the Boticario. The martini was one of the most smoothest martini I have ever had and I was pleasantly surprised by that. All the drinks were solid.
To start, we got the beef tartare, the scallop tartare and the burrata along with some extra bread. That was definitely great advice that somebody gave us and they were spot on. All the apps were amazing. Really good balance of flavors, subtlety and fresh ingredients. We also ordered a caesar salad that followed the same trend of freshness and was falvorful.
This start really got us excited for the main entrees. Unfortunately, they were out of the Picanha which a couple of us wanted but we were assisted by the server to try out different cuts that were similar to get us in the ballpark of what we were looking for. We ordered the Koji, the domestic Wagyu Zabutan, the grass fed prime and also tried out their sea bass. The steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly. We got to try the different flavors and textures of the steak and each had it's uniqueness. The sea bass was ok. I guess there is a reason they are a steak place.
Along with our entrees, we ordered some potatoes. Their tallow fries, the papas aplastadas and the papas al horno. All of these did not disappoint and were a great accompaniment to the steaks. I would skip the alplastadas next time. Not because it wasnt good, but because it wasn't as great as the others.
Overall, the hype is well worth it. And they are definitely a great place for steaks. And just like their sister locations like Martina and Colita, this will be on our regular rotation.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 3, 2024
AMAZING! My friend and I decided to take our chances and see if they had any openings and they only had bar seating which we had to wait 30 minutes but it was worth it! The N/A drinks were delicious! And each thing we ordered we didn't want to stop eating! Something else we got that wasn't pictured was the Beef Tartare! Even looking at these photos makes me want to go back and revisit this meal! The restaurant is beautiful and is good for larger groups to eat family style! I of course will be back!

A perfect spot for date night or celebration! Our server was super attentive and incredibly helpful and informative.
The food was out of this world!!
- 3 adults split the 44oz tomahawk and still brought home a couple slices. We got it with chimichurri and the gorgonzola Mornay. Both sauces were so delicious, I couldn't even.
- The potatoes were EVERYTHING. They are in my dreams.
- We will be trying to recreate the heavenly glazed carrots at home. They are a must have, I need them in my life consistently.
- The empanadas, although small in size, packed with flavor. I would get 3 orders and just devour them.Helpful 0Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 20241 check-in
Great service! We had Nick as a server and he was on his toes making sure we had everything we needed and also informing us if our meal is going to take longer, especially on a busy night. Food was okay. I guess my expectations was too high since the place was hyped up for us. The picanha steak was a little tough even at a medium rare and the endive salad had less endives and most were the outer leaves instead of the inner sweet ones.
Dessert was great! The chocolate pudding was a good choice.
Complementary bubbly for our anniversary and they do have a good wine selection.
Overall ambiance is good and casual. You can get dressed up if you want. What's important is you enjoy your time and savor your food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
