‘Octomom’ Nadya Suleman reveals how she stays fit after octuplets, shares ripped gym pics

“Octomom” Nadya Suleman is giving a glimpse into her gym routine 14 years after giving birth to octuplets.

The 47-year-old posted chiseled selfies via Instagram Tuesday, writing that she has been “asked for years” about staying “physically strong and healthy (and mentally sane)” with “such a big family” at home.

“Lifting weights has been my method,” the counselor added, noting that the training became “even more of a priority” after Noah, Josiah, Nariyah, Maliyah, Jonah, Jeremiah, Isaiah and Makai arrived in 2009.

Suleman explained that she suffered from three herniated discs, bilateral sciatica, a damaged sacrum, peripheral neuropathy and a torn abdominal cavity after giving birth.

“Such disabilities would render me incapacitated if I were to lead a sedentary lifestyle,” she wrote. “Though it seems counterintuitive, the more active I am, the less pain I experience.

“I strive to strength train 3-4 days per week, plus one hour of cardio 4-5 days per week,” Suleman continued.

The former adult entertainer went on to praise her kids for following the same “active lifestyle” that she does.

She encouraged other parents to prioritize their time to “renew and recharge,” concluding, “Your family will benefit immensely when you take care of your mind and body, as you will have more positive energy to give.”

Suleman is active on Instagram, often sharing photos of her little ones on birthdays and holidays.

When the octuplets turned 14 in January, she called them “loving, thoughtful, conscientious and humble” in a touching tribute.

Suleman gushed, “The struggles we’ve endured over the years have strengthened our connections to one another. By facing new challenges in the years to come, I hope we will continue to grow as a family.”
