Steel Panther To Cover Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way

Legendary LA Rock Gods Steel Panther have confirmed that they have Steel Panther-ized the Classic Backstreet Boys single “I Want It That Way”! The track will be released as a download only on Sunday 13th June to coincide with their performance at this years’ Download Festival.

The last year has been a phenomenal one for Steel Panther and has seen them rise from a tent-busting performance at Download Festival 2009, a place as special guests on ZZ Top’s UK dates, and a sell out show at Brixton Academy, to a highly anticipated slot at Download 2010 next weekend. Steel Panther continue to bring their high octane, irresistible blend of hairspray, spandex and awesome Heavy Metal back to the UK.

Steel Panther are audacious frontman Michael Starr, Stix Zadinia on drums, Satchel on guitar, and bassist Lexxi Foxxx . The four member band, known for their outrageous stage presence and gargantuan guitar riffs have been entertaining fans and scores of rock and entertainment VIPs the length and breadth of Britain, making them one of the hottest acts and by far the most loud, entertaining and awesomely rocking live band to have hit the live scene for years.

Steel Panther are the embodiment of Heavy Metal and they’ll stop at nothing until they have returned the genre back to it’s rightful place – at the top of the musical food chain. Join them on their quest to bring Metal back and be sure to witness on of the best and most amusing live shows you’ll probably ever see.

With critics raving that their sold-out brand of 'unmistakable roaring rock' has put the fun back in music, the band also carries their unvarnished sense of excess over to their website link or their myspace page, link – which embodies another stirring quality of Steel Panther – truth in advertising.
