What other fast food restaurant could say one of its most popular menu items is a Mountain Dew? We know the world loves Mountain Dew Baja Blast so much that the makers of the soda, PepsiCo, brought it to stores. But nothing will ever beat the sweet drink accompanied by a Crunchwrap Supreme or burrito from Taco Bell’s drive-thru. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Baja Blast and we’ve already seen some great Bajaversary celebrations. First, PepsiCo announced Baja Blast would be sold in stores for the entirety of 2024 for the first time ever, as the drink is usually seasonal, and introduced new Baja soda flavors—plus brought back its Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast mix pack. Then, Taco Bell shared its plans to bring the highly-requested Baja Blast Gelato to restaurants nationwide this summer. Now, Doritos is getting in on the Bajaversary action, too. Doritos Launching Baja Blast-Flavored Chips We know Taco Bell has a great relationship with PepsiCo—the makers of Mountain Dew and Frito-Lay chips, which makes Doritos. That’s why we’ve seen so many iterations of the Doritos Locos Taco over the years. Now, Doritos and Taco Bell are teaming up for a new flavor—but it’s not on the Taco Bell menu. Instead, Doritos will sell new Baja Blast-inspired chips at grocery stores. Doritos/Allrecipes Doritos is launching the first-ever Baja-inspired flavor: Doritos Baja Fiery Mango. Baja Blast has had a few mango flavors over the years, including the newest mango-flavored Baja Laguna Lemonade, which hit shelves earlier this year. So the new chips will draw flavor inspiration from the tropical soda, but with the classic Doritos spicy flair. Doritos Baja Fiery Mango chips have a spice-packed, fruity, tangy, unexpected flavor that both Doritos and Baja Blast fans won’t want to miss. The limited-edition flavor will launch at select retailers on April 14 and then hit shelves nationwide beginning April 28. Doritos Baja Fiery Mango will be available in 9-ounce and 2.6-ounce bag sizes, as well as a special club-exclusive 18.3-ounce size—so check your favorite club store for those. You might recall the Bajaversary also includes fun rewards, merchandise, and Taco Bell deals for those who purchase any Baja Blast products, including Doritos Baja Fiery Mango. Simply scan your chips on bajablast.com and you’ll earn points to redeem in the Baja Blast shop. We know we’ve said it before, but how could the Bajaversary get any better? Was this page helpful?
