Bought these to attach thing to my sim rig that needed a male side thread coming from the extrusion. I wanna say my rig is 4040 and it fits awesome!

these t bolts are for 80/20 profiles, I have tried them in 3030 and they fit but not well.
I can slide them in and turn them but only 45 degrees.
The screws are M6 but most of my hardware is 1/4"
So to use these I also need extra hardware.
Maybe they are made for 4040 or larger?
The merchant should describe their product better
