I love this colorful and beautifully made guy!
As a diver, my eye and heart went out to this mantis shrimp immediately. I just had to have it! It arrived on time, in good packaging, and is every bit as well constructed as it is charming. It took some work to get the adhesive back to adhere to the fabric I put it on, but I never expect the adhesive alone to keep any patch on fabric that may then flex. With ironing and overnight cooling under a heavy book, it adhered well enough to anchor as I hand-sewed it in place. I am using it on the flap of a little purse I am making with marine-themed fabrics. Literally a tote adorbs! The friend I will give it to will be as delighted to receive it as I am to be making it, I am sure. Thank you, Spider Stitches! Keep making cool marine critters.
