Furious friends of Bridget Moynahan have intercepted the latest Brady baby bombshell in defense of the boy’s Hollywood mom.
Moynahan’s pals tell the New York Post the “Lord of War” mom sacked by Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is seeing red over Gisele Bundchen’s comments about her kid.
Bundchen told Vanity Fair this week that Tom and Bridget’s boy, John, is also hers “100 percent.”
“I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,” Gisele tells Vanity Fair.
Not so fast, says Moynahan’s camp.
“If Gisele loved Bridget’s child like he was ’100 percent her own,’ then she would not talk about him in the press,’” a friend of Moynahan’s tells Page Six today.
Moynahan broke up with Brady before she learned she was carrying his child. She gave birth to John on Aug. 22, 2007.
This week Bundchen is quoted as saying in Vanity Fair that she considered breaking it off with Brady when the news of his impending fatherhood surfaced.
“You question at times, ‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out,’ ” the supermodel tells the mag in a revealing interview accompanied by steamy photos.
But Gisele’s fawning over Brady’s boy blindsided Moynahan, a friend reports.
“Don’t you think Jack will grow up and read her comments and find them disrespectful to him and his mother?” the friend is quoted as saying.
“If Tom is such a great father as everyone likes to say, then you would think that he’d respect the privacy of his young child and would ask his wife not to use his son as a publicity prop and a subject of public discussion. Is she is so desperate for attention that she can’t find anything more productive to talk about other than Bridget’s child?” the friend tells the Post.
