The war between Tom Brady’s baby mama, Bridget Moynahan, and his new wife, Gisele Bundchen, is still soooo on!
Pals of Bridget, who is mom to Brady’s 19-month-old son, Jack, told People maggie that Moynahan was stunned and hurt by Gi’s comments about the baby being “100 percent” her kid.
“Bridget isn’t angry about Gisele’s quotes, she’s hurt,” a B source told the magazine. “For Jack’s sake, she wanted him to be comfortable with Gisele. Bridget tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. But that goodwill has taken a hit. She’s like, ‘Did she really say that?’ ”
As you so well know, Gi gave a rather revealing interview to Vanity Fair maggie in which she said, “I understand that he (Jack) has a mom and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him that’s not my child. I feel like it is, 100 percent.”
Anonymous Moynahan pals retaliated immediately, B-slapping the supermodel for publicly yakking about the baby and pointing out that there is no shortage of paparazzi pics of Jack canoodling with his stepmom while Bridget tries to shield Jack from the media.
“The way Gisele is going around as a stepmother, claiming how much she loves him and using him as a platform for her own celebrity? It’s disgusting,” another pal told People in an article titled “Hands Off My Kid!”
But Gisele’s camp said the Brazilian bombshell is just showing her natural affection for Jack – nothing more.
“What’s she going to do, treat the kid like kryptonite because it’s his kid with Bridget?” a Gi friend said. “She is an affectionate, nice person. She is not cold . . . She is not catty.”
The magazine, on newsstands today, says Brady and Moynahan have maintained a “civil relationship” for the sake of their son, and they “constantly text and e-mail each other to check in on Jack.”
B is planning to take her son to Vancouver with her when she begins working on her new flick, “Ramona and Beezus.” And Brady and Gi are due back in Boston after their Costa Rican honeymoon so he can continue his preseason conditioning.
Maybe a little distance is in order . . . .
