Christina Hendricks Is Engaged to Cameraman George Bianchini

The "Good Girls" actress says that they both popped the question.

Congratulations are in order for Christina Hendricks! The Good Girls star announced her engagement to camera operator George Bianchini on Instagram on March 10, 2023. In her post, the six-time Emmy-nominated actress reveals that the two of them were on the same page about their next step as a couple. “We proposed to each other and we said yes!!!” Hendricks exclaims in her caption. “I will love and care for him forever.” After sharing the news, the Mad Men actress opened up to Vanity Fair about the reason why they both popped the question. “We knew we were in love and that we wanted to be together forever, so we decided to take the pressure off one person to propose and take turns proposing to each other,” she explains. “It’s twice as romantic.”

Many of the couple’s friends, family, and colleagues shared congratulatory messages in the comments section of the post. Good Girls co-star Retta wrote, “Howbow dat?! Congrats y’all!” Another fellow cast member on the show, Mae Whitman, was also supportive of her friend’s engagement. “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Mr and Mrs Seagull!!!!!!!” she exclaimed, and Hendricks responded with the crying-laughing emoji. Alison Brie, who starred in Mad Men with Hendricks, commented, “Congratulations!!! So happy for you both!!” Another Mad Men co-star, January Jones, wrote, “Yayayayayayay!!!!!” Other celebrities, such as Neil Patrick Harris, Tan France, and Anna Camp also flocked to the comments section to congratulate the couple.

The award-winning actress met Bianchini while filming Good Girls, which first aired in 2018. While Hendricks starred as Beth Boland on the show, Bianchini was one of the camera operators during the first season. In addition to the hit series, Bianchini has also worked on films and television shows, such as Wet Hot American SummerThe Nanny DiariesEntourageThe Young Pope, and The Time Traveller’s Wife

At the time they first met, Hendricks was still married to Geoffrey Arend. In April of 2019, they ended their 10-year marriage, according to Daily Mail. The actress shared the news with the public a few months later with a joint statement. “Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners,” she wrote. “We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities. Today we take our next step together, but on separate paths. We will always be grateful for the love we've shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs. We will be taking time to rediscover ourselves in this transition and we thank you for your patience and support in giving us the space to do so.” In December of 2019, the former married couple settled their divorce

Two years after Hendricks’ divorce, the Good Girls crew and cast member were romantically linked. In November of 2021, the two of them were spotted linking arms and sharing a kiss at a Christian Siriano exhibition at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Museum of Art. With Bianchini’s private Instagram account and Hendricks’ low-profile dating life, the couple has managed to keep their relationship out of the limelight for the most part.
