Having decided to make a small wildlife pond to attract frogs into my garden the task of finding a pond that was the right size and price was proving difficult,( my local garden centres were charging silly prices) I was so happy to find this 70 litre capacity pond. It is lightweight, strong and so easy to install. The hardest part was digging the hole but within 3 hours I was filling it with water. Blends into the garden beautifully surrounded by a few plants. I love it and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a small, high quality and affordable pond.

Although the plastic is thin, it's fairly sturdy. gradually fill with water to keep it stable whilst you backfill the hole. It's a great idea to have a small preformed wildlife pond liner, but it is let down by it's rim. When it is fitted and filled with water, the rim distorts in a couple of places and it is difficult to hide the rim, so it doesn't look natural. I've put in aquatic plants which should grow and start to soften the edges. I'm going to plant creepers and rock plants around the edge to further soften it and I intend to line it with cobbles in an attempt to naturalise it as best I can.

I had been looking for a small pond for my garden I looked at garden centres but far too dear for what I required so I browsed on ebay and found this Shannon heavy duty plastic pond and I I very pleased with it, just dig an hole put the pond in and pack it around the outside with sand or soil firm it down with using your feet or a block of wood like you would when planting a small tree, when looking good put water in about 3/4 filled and the had water plants like lilies bulrushes and rocks or small slabs plants for a finishing item, hope this was most helpful to you.

This pond is good value. For a cheap pond it has all that's needed & it's lightweight so easy to manouver. The plastic isn't thick but if it's well bedded in, once full of water shouldn't move.
