The 10th annual Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance is at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Gadsden Convention Hall.

The dance is hosted annually by the YMCA of the Coosa Valley, located across the street from Convention Hall. This event is an opportunity for fathers and their daughters to spend a special night together while strengthening their relationships.

There is no age limit; daughters from newborn to college-aged are welcome to attend with their fathers. The cost per ticket is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Food will be provided by Keystone Foods and Tony’s Bar-B-Q.

Proceeds from the dance will support the YMCA’s Scholarship Assistance program, which allows individuals with financial struggles to participate in many YMCA programs. The goal of the program is to accept anybody who wants to participate despite financial issues through the administration of a YMCA scholarship.

Tickets may be purchased at the YMCA.
