Henrik Lange to succeed Tore Bertilsson as SKF’s Executive Vice President

SKF has announced that Mr. Tore Bertilsson, Executive Vice President and CFO, has decided to retire after nearly 24 years of service in the group. Until his retirement later this year, he will continue as Executive Vice President.

Mr. Henrik Lange has been appointed Executive Vice President and CFO. He will assume the role as Executive Vice President with immediate effect and as CFO from May 1. Mr. Henrik currently serves as President, SKF Industrial Market, Strategic Industries, and is a member of the SKF Group Management. He joined SKF in 1988 and has held several managerial positions within the group.

Mr. Rakesh Makhija has been appointed President, Industrial Market, Strategic Industries, from May 1. Currently President with overall responsibility for China and India, he joined SKF in 2002 as Managing Director, SKF India Ltd. In 2010, he was appointed President, SKF Asia, and at the same time became a member of the SKF Group Management.

Both Mr. Henrik Lange and Mr. Rakesh Makhija will be members of the SKF Group Management and the Executive Committee. They will report to Mr. Tom Johnstone, SKF President and CEO, and be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
