As far as beautiful goes you don’t get more on perfectly lovely than this place. It's where nature and art are perfectly balanced and to mamma it is a magical even surreal journey through the ferny tranquil 'fairy tale' glades here.
William Ricketts statues and sculptures are hidden among the fernery and shrubbery all through the tracks and trails here at the sanctuary. His general message portrayed in his artworks is about a modern Australia that embraces Aboriginal spirituality and respect for nature, and it is easy to be swept into that message as you get lost in the beauty of his art and how they sit in the hills here.
There are great paths here that you could push a pram in if need be and there are trails and stairs that shoot off to smaller lookouts and hidden treasure too so if you can take a baby carrier for the little ones and just take your time with the toddlers it is still doable and worth while family outing.
