Very tiny feather duster?

Is this a very tiny feather duster? Or something else? It retreats into the rock entirely when bothered. 

 

I had had a large feather duster drop his crown about 2-3 months ago and disappear. Maybe it's him?! Or a random hitchhiker?

Yeah, that is a small feather duster.

I wonder where it came from... this tank has been up since May and nothing new has been added in over a month other than a fish and Pom Pom crab.

Could have come on the crab, or a coral frag, live rock, anything you have ever added to the tank. They are all over my back wall now.

I feel bad when I clean the glass and invariably damage some.

I'm not really sure. My last one was about 2 inches across it's crown, but this one is teeny tiny - like not even the size of my fingernail.

Usually these don't grow to the size of the ones we buy in store. They stay pretty small. Largest ones I have ever had have been like 1 inch across.
