Tom Brady's ex Bridget Moynahan was glad Gisele Bundchen supported them in raising Jack

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, although separated, will always be one of the NFL's most highly celebrated couples. The duo got together in 2006, marrying three years later in 2009. However, what no one was expecting was Brady having a child with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.

Weeks into their relationship, Moynahan revealed that she was pregnant with Tom Brady's child. Bundchen, despite all the odds, decided to stick with Brady and help raise Jack. In 2007, the couple and Moynahan welcomed John Edward Thomas Moynahan.

However, things seem to have worked out well for the unlikely family.

In an old interview, Moynahan spoke of Bundchen and how their son Jack was lucky to have the Brazilian supermodel in his life. Bundchen, of course, has been actively involved in Jack's life, making sure he is just as loved.

Moynahan said:

“Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don’t think you can ask for more than that....My son is surrounded by love.”

The John Wick actress also spoke about being a new mom, and what that meant for a celebrity like her. She told People magazine:

"Being pregnant and having a baby are such personal, intimate moments,” “I would have cars following me, and men hiding in the bushes outside my house."

Did Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen almost call it quits over their son Jack?

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bundchen spoke of their early struggles and how it wasn't an ideal situation for anyone involved. However, the 42-year-old had faith in herself and Tom Brady and decided to stand by him and raise a family together. She said:

“You question at times — ‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out'. But when people break up, it’s for a reason.”

In the end, Jack was a blessing for the family.

“I think it was a blessing, because otherwise I don’t think I would have known what he was made of, and he wouldn’t have known what I was made of,” she said.

Later, Bundchen also revealed that Jack was the bonus child she was given.

Brady and Bundchen's most recent social media interaction was due to Jack. Tom Brady posted a photo of their 15-year-old son practicing, referring to him as his 'inspiration'. Bundchen commented on the same post, adding a red heart of her own.
