UFC icon Tito Ortiz says divorce from porn star Jenna Jameson was ‘blessing in disguise’ after marrying ring girl
TITO ORTIZ said divorce to porn star Jenna Jameson was a "blessing in disguise" after the UFC icon married a ring girl.
Ortiz and Jameson - real name Jenna Marie Massoli - began dating in 2006 but split up seven years later.
The MMA legend was granted full custody of his twin boys Jesse and Journey.
Ortiz has since remarried to former UFC ring girl Amber Nichole Miller, and the couple now raise the boys together.
He told SunSport: "Twins’ mom walked away. It’s been nine years now. I have no problem with that now because it’s a blessing in disguise.
"My now wife has filled the shoes of their mother, she’s done an amazing job. Fishing saved my life when I was a young man.

"I got to go away and fish. You’ve always got to watch over your shoulder being in a gang.
"I’ve chased the American Dream which is hard but it’s worth it. My biggest achievement is seeing the smile on my kids, knowing they love me.
"That’s the best thing in the world, there’s nothing like it. Smile on their faces knowing that there’s not going to be the hard times.
"There’s hard times such as chores and their homework in the house, but that’s life.

"As relationship and having girlfriend and fighting in front of them is not going to happen, they don’t know what that is. I’m making them as men."
Ortiz has another son, 19-year-old Jacob from his first marriage, and revealed he is strict on all three of his kids.
He said: "It’s a different world now compared to when I was growing up.
"My kids I can’t imagine them seeing the life I saw at a young age, but me becoming a father has changed me.
"I did something my father never did, and that is I have three smart boys, Jacob is 19, he’s in Arizona University.
"Then there’s my two twins A Students. I’m making them educated and that’s important to me.
"Me growing up, I never had that father figure growing up, so it was hard.
"I had to watch movies and stuff to feel and experience what it was like, it was hard.
"Now I am able to do right with my kids – no cell phones for my boys, the elder one does have one but the two young ones don’t.
"They never had i-Pads, they get attached to cell phones and their friends do have phones.
"If they have phones and i-Pads they don’t want to talk and have a conversation."
Ortiz last fought in MMA in 2019 and most recently transitioned to boxing but was knocked out in one round by Anderson Silva, 46.
He said: "One punch changes it where as in mixed martial arts you try to close the gap and try to punch, punch, punch, but it’s not the same as boxing.

"Boxing is the sweet science, you’ve got to take your time and it really takes time to be a great boxer that’s why it’s called the sweet science.
"And Anderson was the better guy. I’ve got to lick my wounds and get back on my horse again, right."
